I hope everyone’s had an awesome Christmas and I wish you all a Happy New Year. In 2010 I plan to set myself a design challenge. I indent to design a piece of work everyday of 2010. I’m really looking forward to doing this and I’ve seen some brilliant examples of people that have done it on Smashing Magazine .
There are a number of things I could theme my creations around. I think I’m either going to set myself a theme every month and design something daily around that months theme. Another option is to just create something randomly, or something inspired by an event that’s taken place that day. There are many options and this is something I need to work out in the next couple of days.
At work Luke (he still needs to get his website finished) is doing the same challenge which is really reassuring because we can both motivate each other into getting something done everyday!
My 2009
I’ve had an amazing 2009 and I’m really looking forward to a better 2010! This year I got made permanent at twentysix and love my job. Another huge thing (which was a life long ambition) was winning an FWA on Christmas Day for our twentysix Christmas project : Christmas Tweets – Christmas Tweets was a project Will Jones came up with and Art Directed and it was awesome to all pull our skills together to create this project which gained a brilliant response from the creative world! The outcomes have been really interested and it’s be rewarding to see the positive comments and twitters from everyone.

2010
1) I want to increase my design skill set,
2) I’d like to do more personal animations (which I could tie in with the design a day challenge)
3) I’d love to get into Computer Arts
4) Get a website and blog design finished – One that I’m happy with at least
5) Stick to the design a day resolution
That’s all for now!
oh actually…if you’re Russian and keep posting comments advertising rubbish…please stop! It’s boring me having to go through them all and mark them as Spam! Thank you!

November or Movember as it’s now known, was a month of me raising money and looking like an idiot by growing a tash! I found by the end of the month I’d got quite attached to the furry thing, and people wanted me to keep it! But it had to go
I’d like to thank everyone who donated to the cause, and I managed to raise £357 which all goes to finding a cure for prostate cancer! There are final images and also daily image on their website here : http://uk.movember.com/mospace/120521/
Thank you all once again if you did donate!
Roll on next Movember :{D

Since Sunday myself and two others have been working on a viral experiment using Twitter and a holding page which are both connected to a popular TV program! I’ll write up our findings in the next few weeks! But at the moment it seem to be going quite well and we have a following of 181 users and a website that’s had over 300 page views…our findings so far have been very interesting and quite fun
It’s amazing how Twitter can be used as a positive way of advertising
Watch this space!

Wow I’ve really neglected updating my Blog haven’t I! I’ve been very busy and I have been working hard on some interesting projects.
I’m currently working with the creative duo iHeartSpaceShips on a nice project for a Bespoke furniture company called “beespoke“, I’ve been asked to recreate their current logo.

The client still wants to include the Bee but also incorporate what they do as a company (bespoke wooden furniture), below is a selection of icons for the logo. I liked the idea of using a ribbon/wood shavings to represent the materials they used. Here are four final bee icons
I’m really pleased with the outcome of these 4 bees and feel they represent well what I wanted to communicate. I’ll upload the final logo once chosen by the client.
Two more logos I’ve recently worked on are for a multi-service company and a social networking event. See below

This logo has been designed to look professional but also represent the 5 services they offer
And…

Matt (Technical Director at work) will be holding a monthly social networking event aimed at digital designers. His logo was similar to this, but I wanted to have a play and create something that included what the even was. He wanted the logo to look modern and clean.
Both these logos are at the end of their developement and I’m just waiting for a final logo to be picked. Like the Bee-spoke logo, I’ll post here as an update when complete!
That is all! I’ll post again in a few days (hopefully)
UPDATE
The Final Beespoke logo is here :

I’ve had a full week of procrastinating and have finally got back into doing personal projects outside of work!
I’ve not even officially launched this blog yet, but I’ve got bored of the overall design and I’m currently in the process of redesigning it! This is something I always seem to do with my own personal work. I’m never 100% satified and always try to improve, I’m sure this is the same for most creatives and well…it always gives me something to be working on…
I’m currently interested in doing some collaborative work…drop me a line if you’re interested @ adam@acampion.co.uk
Also check out some of my most recent work on deviantart

Hey guys, and here’s my first official blog post.
I’m aiming to update this blogg at least once a week with my own pieces, or inspirational pieces I’ve found. I’ve got lots of skills I’m wanting to develope and will keep posting here with the things I get up to.
My first mission is to get more personal animations done, I mainly do animations and illustrations at work and havent done any personal based animations since University! I’m also wanting to improve in Action Script 3.0, something which I can do at the sametime as animating.
